Projects update

Hi everybody,

Time to post an update of my two projects. First, the Fokker T.5.

This is what the T.5 looks from the outside now. Most things are done on the exterior.

I also started rigging of certain components. The main landing gear and the cowl flaps will be provided with a skinned animations. Good news is that the Blender2FSX toolset now completely supports skinned animations.

The exterior FSX model needs an interior too. So with the help of photographs, I was able to create a basic interior for both the nose and the mid section already.

Yet, I've many questions about the mid section interior. Please have look at this thread if you can help me: http://www.nederlandseluchtvaart.nl/forums/f13-fokker/middenstuk-romp-fokker-t-v-35772/

My other project is the TacPack integration of my Fokker D.21. This is going on nicely, most work on this is done ATM. You can se the proof of this in the next in-game screenshot.

I can't tell anything about the release date of the D.21 TP update, because the TP build I'm working with is still a dev build. I'll keep you posted!

Last but not least, I want to wish everybody a happy New Year's Eve!

Merry Christmas and a happy 2015

Hi everybody,

I'd like to wish you all a Merry Christmas and a happy 2015!

NB: D.21 in Finnish colors, repaint by Zsolt Beleznay.

Fokker T.5 update

Everybody thanks for downloading my Fokker D.21! I'm a little overwhelmed by the number of DLs...

T.5 project though: The T.5 now looks more detailed. I refined the cowling area, added main wing control surfaces and the main entrance door.

I detailed the engine cowling area and made the cowl flaps. I also added the exhaust and inlets.

In the rear section, a door is provided as main entrance.

The flaps have a strange configuration. The nacelle's rear end in fact blocked the inboard flap, so the cut that chunk of and attached it to the flap, basically. This is no fantasy! There are photographs where we can see the split.

Fokker D.21 paintkit

Hi everyone,

First: thanks everybody for support! In less than 24 hours, the downloads exceeded 800 in total, which I'm really surprised of. Have fun guys!

Here's the paintkit for the Fokker D.21. Please give me feedback whether it's usable or not, since I don't have experience in both using and creating these kits ;)

Dear people,

I've been waiting long for this moment: the final release of the Fokker D.21 fighter for FSX. Tonight (or tomorrow, depending on the servers) the file will be available on Sim-Outhouse, Avsim, FlightSim.Com and Simviation.

I wish you a lot of happy flying hours!

Fokker T.5 progress

The progress of the Fokker T.5 development is rather positive IMHO. These images show you the current 3D status. I added Main and Tail Landing Gear and main wheelwells.

Regards!

T.5 project update

Hi there,

A short summary of the development of the Fokker T.5. I added the main wings with the engine nacelles, and the horizontal stabilizer with vertical stabilizer.

At the tailplane, I made both longitudinal and directional control surfaces, with their respective trim surfaces.

Engines have been added as well. The Fokker T.5 was powered by two Bristol Pegasus XXVI radial engines. The Pegasus is, like the Mercury, a descendant of the famous Jupiter, be it later developed than the Mercury. Because of the similarity between the Mercury and the Pegasus, I used the Mercury of the D.21 as a base for the Pegasus. In fact, I only needed to stretch the cylinders and modify the crankcase (the baffle plates are updated as well, but not yet in this image).

The latest progress is the main landing gear. Not finished yet, but a good start.

Regards,

Dutchie
